BEN COLENUTT

About BEN

Ben originally trained and qualified in the field of Electronic Engineering and subsequently read Law at Brunel University before attending the College of Law in London to undertake the Legal Practice Course, and went on to qualify as a Solicitor in 2012.

Outside of providing timely and comprehensive independent legal advice for iLA, Ben’s practice includes property (and general) litigation, and leasehold matters, specialising in lease extension and enfranchisement matters, as well as Landlord and Tenant issues for either Landlords or Tenants including service charge disputes, ground rent arrears and the right to first refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987.

With considerable experience helping clients from all walks of life Ben is able to provide detailed advice to clients on the processes involved, eligibility, timescales and costs as well as the finer details and idiosyncrasies of law.

Outside of work you will usually find Ben spending time with his young family, watching Rugby, enjoying the British countryside camping around the UK or travelling further afield.
